i lived in a small town throughout my teenage years and had a lot of hardcore punk friends. great fucking dudes. positive and always looking for something fun to do even if they didn’t drink. it was always fun even just sitting around, broing down, watching the goonies or a john hughes movie. everyone needs to be friends with hardcore kids at some point. some are self-righteous dickweeds, some are pretty misogynistic and disrespectful egotists, but there’s a few who are genuine and open minded people that don’t get enough credit for it.
